I believe that much of our life satisfaction is centered around the quality of the relationships that we have with our loved ones. I help clients and members of marginalized groups (i.e. the BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ community) to better navigate the relationships with the people in their lives.

In this exploration process, we may work on unfolding intergenerational trauma, look through attachment styles, learn how to set boundaries and how to communicate assertively. These are all done while remaining sensitive to one’s cultural background, identity and personal beliefs.

More specifically, I help clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationships (romantic and non-romantic), discrimination and/or past trauma to feel confident and equipped with the tools to cope, grow and heal. My humanistic approach is non-judgemental, person-centered, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive.

My ideal client is curious, engaged, and ready to explore the therapeutic relationship. Working with me, you will be encouraged to develop goals while I gently challenge you on your journey of self-exploration. Together, we will learn and practice healthy coping strategies for you to thrive, understand yourself on a deeper level, and live your life to its fullest potential.
